- The Problem
- Most digital music players make listening convenient, but the experience often feels generic. Music becomes another list of tracks, albums, and controls rather than something you interact with.

Cassette Studio explores a different approach to digital music playback — treating the music player itself as the experience.
I designed and built a cassette-inspired interface where the physical metaphor drives the interaction. Track information lives on the cassette, the reels respond to playback, and music becomes something you can interact with rather than simply press play on.
The project combines product design, interaction design, and frontend development to explore how familiar physical objects can make digital experiences feel more tangible.
